Advanced Organizational Performance Techniques (AdOPT) Schedules a COBIT Boot Camp which Allows Students to Obtain Two COBIT Certifications in One Week

COBIT Foundation and COBIT Assessor certification courses have been scheduled back to back creating the unique opportunity to understand the basics of COBIT as well as the more advanced COBIT Process Assessment Model.

TUCSON, AZ, August 22, 2016 /PressRelease/ -- AdOPT is offering the first US based COBIT boot camp that includes both COBIT Foundation and COBIT Assessor certification in a one week format. This course has been added to the schedule the week of December 5th in New York City, NY.

"The COBIT 5 framework has evolved over the years into an incredibly valuable tool for the governance and management of IT. The Assessor component of COBIT 5 provides a structured, repeatable process that can be used to understand the performance and capability of critical processes. The Assessor course is rarely offered in the US which makes it difficult for IT professionals to attend and grow their knowledge in this area. We hope by providing the courses in a boot camp format, we make it easier for IT leaders and auditors to understand the framework and how it can be leveraged to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the enterprise." - Pam Erskine

In one week, students can obtain two incredibly valuable COBIT certifications. Both certification exams are included in the course. Additional information about the courses is available at http://www.adoptitsm.com/workshops--simulations.html. Private courses are also available.

At AdOPT, we are transformation consultants focused on strategy, process, innovation, and culture change to improve IT efficiency, increase effectiveness, and optimize costs. For more information, phone 520-591-2427, visit our website at http://www.adoptitsm.com or email us at info@adoptitsm.com.

Press Release

April 25, 2016

Advanced Organizational Performance Techniques (AdOPT) is proud to announce that Pamela Erskine has achieved the designation of COBIT Certified Assessor.  The designation, offered by ISACA, signifies more than just certification in the COBIT Process Assessment Model, it provides a level of confidence relating to the experience required to perform enterprise level process assessments.   Very few individuals in the USA have achieved this designation.

“The COBIT 5 framework has evolved into a valuable resource for both governance and management.  The Process Assessment Model combined with the Goals Cascade and Process Reference Model provide a structure for IT assessments that allows organizations to focus their attention on the processes which provide the most value to the enterprise.  It is a structured methodology which maximizes consistency but allows flexibility based on the goals and objectives of the organization. I pursued this designation as I believe in the value this model can bring to the enterprise.”  Pam Erskine

Organizational Change and ITSM
IT organizations must change the way they operate to meet the ever growing technology requirements of their business partners and customers.  In today's world, IT is evaluating and often implementing good practices such as DevOps, Lean, ITIL, Cobit, etc. Implementation of these practices won't provide the results that are necessary to thrive in this rapidly changing environment.  To be successful, IT organizations must focus on the adoption of changes by their staff and their customer.
